Finding a web host

Today we get to talk about web hosting. Hosting is one of those things you pay for in order to get your site live on the internet.

Yes, it’s true, there are places you can go to get free web hosting, but I don’t recommend you go that route.

Unless Aunt Millie and Uncle Bob will be the only people visiting your site :-)

Seriously tho, there’s so much baggage that comes with a free site, blech… and ultimately, you’re not the one in control of your web site when you go the free way.

So, for our purposes, we’re going to focus on paid for hosting.

Have you noticed that there are like 17 kajillion web hosting companies out there? Just exactly how are you supposed to know which one to go with?

Doing your own research is a great option and I highly recommend it…

But for now, I’m going to tell you about the hosting company I like a lot, they do really good things and they are priced right.

And now for my favorite… Hosting zoom. Hosting zoom is an awesome web hosting company. I have the majority of my sites hosted at Hosting zoom. I love this place.
Customer support rocks. The amount of space and bandwidth you get is awesome… it’s all good

You can get hosting from hosting zoom for as low as $7.95 month, if you pay annually… a little more if you pay monthly. You can host up to 20 web sites on one account. I have yet to find anything about hosting zoom that I don’t like… But I’m still looking ;-)

Here’s the link for Hosting Zoom, go check them out and see what you think.

Check all the sites and find the one best for you. Or, go online and find another site that suits your needs even better.

But whatever you do, find a web hosting company. Next time we start designing web pages.
